This includes negotiating with rental agencies. We will be your guide in the search and negotiation process to ensure that you get nothing less than the best offer based on budget and your needs, preferences, and goals.
Our services include:
- case planning, assessments and budget assistance
- assisting you in developing your housing needs and goals
- liaising with FACS, Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) providers, realtors, property developers and proprietors to negotiate modifying current tenancy to address any risks and barriers
- locating alternative housing solutions
- assistance with housing applications, including NDIS SDA, FACS, Affordable Housing, and general real estate applications
- liaising with your support network, treatment providers and other service providers to obtain necessary documentation and support letters to assist with housing applications and/or maintenance of current tenancies
- liaising with your utility providers and assistance with your application for direct support with utility bills, i.e. Energy Accounts Payment Assistance (EAPA) and other utility relief grants and vouchers
- liaising between you and your landlord to ensure the requirements set in the tenancy agreement are met
- capacity-building assistance
